MMSA Spring Demo Day 2010

B. Keith Ryder from Virginia (Wash. DC area)

Keith will be offering a class Sunday morning, providing one of the demonstrations in the afternoon,

and also teaching a 2 day class at Cake Connection (Jackson) on Monday & Tuesday following the Demo Day.

Pulled Sugar Class

Taught by B. Keith Ryder

Monday & Tuesday, Feb 22 & 23, 2010

at Cake Connection in Jackson, Michigan

9am – 5pm (end time may vary slightly depending on student speed)

Join the fun as Keith takes the fear away and guides you step by step thru the mysteries of pulled sugar. Start with the basics and work up to advanced techniques, then leave with a complete sea-scape project. Day 1 will cover the basics and students will work with sugar to create blown sugar balls, ribbons, and rose sprays. Day 2 will be spent working with isomalt (sugar substitute that is not so humidity sensitive!) as the students use techniques learned during the first day as well as some new methods Keith will share for some stunning results for the sea scape. Each student will take home a completed creation!

Class fee: $225

Included with fee:

· ALL supplies will be provided for students.

· Lunch will also be provided both days.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required with registration to reserve your seat.

Balance is due by February 1, 2010

Please send registration in early to avoid disappointment as space is limited to assure quality instruction time with each student as needed.
